Day 130

Sunday at home so jobs done and Mummy a happy bunny!
Today for us was what most people think of when they think of a traditional family Sunday. In the UK at least anyway.

My partner and I did some work in the garden whilst the kids played outside and in. Then after a while I put a roast in the oven whilst we did some business work. Not very exciting I know. The garden work did involve us building a log store at the side of the house. Well I say we, my partner built it reallly. I just cleared away all of the wood, twigs and rubbish to make room for it. Oh, and acted as his skivvy as well of course!

He seems to think that when he is busy doing something, whether it is some DIY or cooking, I need to be his assistant. If he is cooking he will ask me if we have any flour, or garlic bread or whatever it is he wants. Sometimes he expects me to know the answer but what he really means is 'can you get me some...' . He could get it himself, as soon as he has finished his immediate task, but if I am in the vacinity he would rather pass the job to me. It doesn't matter if I have arms full of washing or I'm preparing some food myself. he automatically assumes the role as chief and me as assistant. Does your partner do that to you? Do you do it to your partner? Is it a man thing? Or just strictly my partner's thing? Anyway I was digressing again, sorry!

Later in the afternoon I decided I needed a break from work and the weather was still good. So I went for a jump on the trampoline. I can always guarantee that when I go on there the kids, and sometimes my partner, will soon follow. On this occasion my partner got there first and started bouncing me up and down. Being the wimp that I am I was screaming my head off as I was flung into the air uncontrollably. I don't know how he managed to get the right frequency of bounces to create my maximum flight but he did. I ended up screaming and gigling so much my sides hurt and I was out of breath. I was certainly glad of my pelvic floor exercises! It just shows you don't have to actually jump on trampolines to get some exercise Happy
